Happy Monday! Today, I’m thrilled to help author Tara Fuller reveal the cover of her new book, BLURRED, which is coming in July, and to tell you more about an exciting opportunity where you could win an ARC of the book once the ARCs are available. Continue reading
My fellow readers and writers, I’m thrilled to bring you some exciting news: I am officially a VIP member of the Sony Readers Book Club! A few weeks ago, Sony announced that it was starting a new book club and was looking for twenty-five VIP members to participate in the program. As a book club member, Sony asked that we participate in four amazing book club discussions/chats with authors Laini Taylor (Daughter of Smoke and Bone), Barbara Kingsolver (Flight Behavior), Michael Connelly (The Black Box), and Molly Ringwald (When It Happens to You). As you all know, I love eBooks and my Sony Reader and always have, so I thought I’d apply even though I thought winning was a long shot. Much to my surprise, I received an e-mail a few days later that Continue reading
Wow, what a spring. With everything that’s been going on recently, it’s hard to believe that it’s been two months since my last post.
I’d tell you about what’s been going on in my life, but that would require me to write another novel, so I’ll spare you the details. Continue reading
Well, this will be my last normal Magic Monday post for a while. With the craze and excitement of NaNoWriMo upon us, I’ll be focusing all my writing efforts on getting my new project done. But don’t worry! I won’t leave you alone to stare at an empty blog for a month. No, no. I’m excited to share that beginning next Monday, October 31st, I’ll be partnering with the Indie Book Collective to bring you a special NaNoWriMo blog series for the month of November. I’ll kick off the series on Halloween with a post of my own, and after that, you’ll get to meet several other NaNoWriMo authors who have generously volunteered to guest blog for us. These bloggers will share their NaNoWriMo success stories with you each week, and I really think you’ll love them. Continue reading
Since I’m between books at the moment (I’ll have a new review for you next week, I promise!), I thought I’d take a few minutes and let you know about some upcoming events between now and the end of the year. The year 2011 seems to have gone faster for me than I ever thought possible, and now we’re here again, staring the end of the year and the upcoming holiday season in the face. (Didn’t I just put the Christmas decorations back in the attic?) Continue reading
I’m so excited to announce that tomorrow, I’ll be featured in an author interview on the fabulous Morgen Bailey’s website. You can visit her website here (http://morgenbailey.wordpress.com/blog-interviews/) and learn more about her and also read some of the fantastic author interview’s she’s done.
Today’s post is short because I’m going to spend some quality time with Merrick and Lorena. I’ll be posting an interview with Lorena soon and hopefully will be able to post an excerpt from the book in a few weeks too. Happy writing!
