Wow, what a spring. With everything that’s been going on recently, it’s hard to believe that it’s been two months since my last post.
I’d tell you about what’s been going on in my life, but that would require me to write another novel, so I’ll spare you the details. Suffice to say that this has been one of the craziest, busiest springs in my life. There have been lots of changes.
All that aside, there have also been a few changes on the writing front. I’m sorry to say that I will not be releasing Merrick Maples and the Legend of the Lost Stonethis month as originally planned. I didn’t feel it was ready, and I didn’t want to send Merrick’s story into the world before it was at its best. I’ll continue to update you on its release though, and hopefully it will be printed and in your hands soon.
On a happier writing note, I’m currently working on another story—an older, darker YA book—that I’m excited to share with you soon. it doesn’t have a title yet, so for now, I’ll call it The Guardians. I don’t want to give away too many details, so for now, I’ll just refer you to Genesis 6:4 in the Bible:
“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.”
Until next week, happy writing!
